IS THE CHANGE OF OLD NAIRA NOTE FOR THE FORTH COMING ELECTION JUSTIFIED?

The number one reason for failure is action without planning.Failure to plan in advance is the preparation for unnecessary mistakes, and great losses of time, money and energy and as we speak, the economic and the moral of an average person is declining, the street and highways are scanty. low movement of people, no commercial transport vehicles to board neither the private cars are available on the motor ways resulting from the present situation. The low movement is the result of the emergency cashless policy the federal government had thrown the nation into. Now the public sector remain in a precarious state, no money in the bank ATM machine, the banks are not open to customers for fear of attack on their staffs, the banks selling the old notes to customers at margin and the POS selling also to customers at margin. Now the POS operators who give old Naira notes are no longer available with cash either old or new to continue in their margin cut business and now the people are scrambling to find a way to survive even some went on street begging. But if the government taking this action either for free and fair election as acclaimed or for another step or advantage to increase the likelihood of success for a party- candidate, failed to secure the security reason projected, the company of the planners, like a dive, had crashed and burned.I hope the policy makers and the leaders will realize that if a thoughtful detailed plan was long put to the planning process will save enormous costs in time, money and resources.Nevertheless, iin some other countries currency change has never been used as control for free and fair election!, no sustainable development cannot be achieved without guaranteeing the dignity of everyone in the society. This requires the right policies and long time post plan.Or do we need to change our currency every four years for the nation's election?
