A.B Tinubu, the wife of late Kola Waheed Tinubu, of the same Tinubu family lost her only daughter to the cold hand of death because she could not come up with the Nine Million Naira demanded of her for daughter medical treatmet due to delay of payment for contract that she did with the Amnesty Office. Her daughter was sick and taken to the Idi-Araba University teaching hospital (Luth) where she died three weeks ago because she was not able to raise nine million Naira for her medical treatment, before she could run up and down to come up with the nine million demanded for her treatment she lost her, whereas she has not less than four hundred millions of Naira to collect in the presidential Amnesty office. Alot of contractors are dieing day by day, a lot of contractors are homeless today, a lot of contractors can no longer pay their children to school, some others the financial institutions have confiscate their properties due to the delay of payment;- according to her voice chat released for publication . It’s been nothing but endless promises and fraud play on the presidential Amnesty contractors as Dr. Dennis Otuaro appears to have missed his way in the management of the presidential Amnesty fund. Dr. Dennis Otuaro is the current Administrator of the presidential Amnesty programme for the welfare of the reformed ex-agigators of Niger Delta. Otuaro who was accused of sabotaging the very essence of the Amnesty programme, which was established to restore peace and stability in the Niger Delta region have been found to have been fostering division and unrest in the region by his presumptuous decisions. He prioritizing personal interests, with the contractors money refusing to release their long over-due payments for the presidential Amnesty project completed long -ago .What is more, some grieved contractors have testified on life video recording what they have lost , some have lost their homes, others properties have been seized, many are battling life threatening illness, due to the stress and debt burden, caused by the delay in paying back loans taken from financial institutions, some have even died. . This programme have turned from hope to heartbreak, asserted by the contractor.
This tragic rearing up of the ugly head of embezzlement of federal fund is no doubt, a throw-back to the dark days before the establishment of the economy and financial crime commission, but in this present age it's a thorn on democracy.
