REPORT ON THE INVESTITURE CEREMONY OF THE MANAGING DIRECTOR OF NIGERIA RAILWAY   CORPORATION  ENGR. FREEBORN EDETANLEN OKHIRIA
It takes a robust administrative ingenuity on  the part of the present administration of the Mainland Scout Local Association to collaborate with the Engr.Freeborn Edetanlen Okhiria, the magaging director of Nigeria Railway Corporation Administration which is alive to its responsibilities and is prepared and ready to dispense value for the youth through Scouting in the lagos Mainland district Scout Local Association in terms of robust citizenry.
It is more so to facilitiate it capacity to train and build the youth.The managing director of the Nigeria Railway Corporation headquater office in Ebute-metta lagos,Engr.Freeborn Edetanlen Okhiria was invested into the Scouting movement on 2nd-April-2017 as a life Grand Patron.He was weighed into scouting discourse as an esteemed integrity for re-establishment in the Scouting Movement on this day in the presence of about fifteen Railway Administrative officials,the Mainland Scout District Commissioner,Monday Monye,the lagos state Scout Commissioner’s representatives, the Mainland Scout Local Association Chairman,Mama Kofoworaola Olaitan, other Scouters, Cub Scouts, pressmen from media houses and other junior Railway workers.
The event which took place at the Railway corporation administrative building conference hall got started exactly 4:30 pm with prayer and reading of the Grand Patron Profiles then grew into the investiture proper fifteen minutes later.
And the Railway director for administration,Dr.Aminu Gusau, talked about his  experience as Scout in his youth days and being a passionate man he felt honoured to have been part of the occasion of the investiture today.
The Grand Patron expressed gratitude to God for the success of the day and promised according to the Scout law to always do his best and ready to dispense rigorous attention to the movement responsibilities and need, he adviesd the Scout District Commissioner to be firm in his public goodwill for accontability and fairness in Scouting and ordered  ten copies of a book titled”how to overcome drug abuse and addiction written by Samuel O. Kingston,the District In-council secretary”presented to him by the Scout District Commissioner,Monday Monye Omoloba to some of his administrative directors.That is precisely what we began to witness in his promise to support Scouting as commitment to aim of Scouting crusade.
