UNILAG ISSUED YELLOW CARD TO STUDENT 2017/2018 .

Professor Ademola Adeleke,Dean student affairs Division of the University of Lagos in a bid to combat the stubborn problem of drug dependence among the student of tertiary institutions and widespread incidence of drug use and abuse induced violence with crime in the nation's campus of learning lunched a reformatory Campus wide drug campaign.The footage walk campaign with the facilitators and the resource persons to every halls of residence and faculties of the campus was to charge the students to shun illicit drug use with its abuse.

One of the psychological effects of drug abuse is shame .The female or male student will experience shame because when his or her secret drug doing act has become public knowledge when caught.Another psychological effect is guilt.She,he will feel guilty for not being loyal to the oath he had made to the school authority.
However the National Drug law enforcement agency representative at the grand finale in Ade Ajayi Auditorium warned that such act is criminal therefore anyone caught doing drug is liable.
Mrs Toyin Aregbesola,the Registrar and the Assistant Registrar, Mr Omotola of the bureaucracy of the student affairs Division added that the campaign was prompted to give help to any student who volunteered to get help from the school Counselling unit from drug abuse in response to the campaign but after the campaign any student caught with drugs will be penalise with outright expulsion.
