The new members, coordinators and the administrative management personnel of “theater 15th” together on Sunday of 22nd August 2026 had this year’s edition of their usual yearly get together party on the parapet floor of the Ade- Ajayi main auditorium at the University of Lagos, Akoka campus. Meant for communication and reorientation for newly inducted member on the worth and advantages of being a credible member of the potential drama group. According to one of the speaker, it was said that it is important to think through every step needed to gain the advantages attached to being a member of this dynamic group.
T-15, as fondly chant by old long standing members has come a long way since 1983, starting from the campus of the University of Lagos Akoka campus opened only to student from across every discipline in the system. It's a window to chances and opportunities for every art student and all others who stage drama, acting in general is heartily desired, where actors in the making are discovered and projected to the world's Hollywood and our Nollywood. Please take this advantage if you are looking for one.
It is the very place where one can obtain local and overseas hospitality as well just for being a member like in the case of the associate professor of theater Arts of Adeleke University Ede, a fellow member present in the meeting, associate professor Tunji Shotimirin shared on how a one time member of the group in Unilag walked up to him in the U.K who took his recognition having been a member of the group while he was an undergraduate to offer him helping hand through a rigorous registration process he was struggling with there, all others too testified on their experiences on how T.15, played significant role in the shaping for the present career they are engaged in presently such like banking , aviation, academics...
Kayode Eesuola, Ph.D. holder a research associate professor of social sciences at the institute of African and diaspora studies also testified and in collaboration with fellow members pledged generosity to their new members.
The meeting tagged “ Reunion” was a wave of dramatic harmony of family relationship of all the T.15.
Femi Aina, member the ceremonial master of the day, a fellow member of the administrative management for the group conducted the ceremonial toast where all present had different cup content for the toast like water, minerals, wine and fruit juices as they like it.
Mr. Leo, one in the midst urged everyone present who may be interested to be a member to make attempt to register coming next year.
